The IRCT is seeking a highly skilled professional to conduct a livelihoods impact assessment of its Livelihoods Project. This project aims to integrate socioeconomic support into rehabilitation services for torture survivors, enhancing their overall well-being and mental health recovery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing existing data, conducting interviews with member organizations, and providing strategic insights on improving and sustaining this approach. A background in psychology, psychotherapy, sociology, anthropology, mental health, global health, or international development is required.
- **Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
- • Excellent English writing skills and a structured research approach.
- • Experience in program evaluation, particularly in rehabilitation, livelihoods, or mental health projects.
About the Project: The Livelihoods Project has been implemented by 19 IRCT member centres worldwide, particularly in the Global South, to assess how financial stability and employment opportunities contribute to the overall well-being and mental health recovery of survivors.
Employment Type: This is a mid-senior level contract position that requires strong analytical skills, excellent English writing abilities, and a passion for improving rehabilitation services for torture survivors.
