About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Commodities Strategist to join our Global Service Procurement team at Vestas. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for electrical commodities, driving cross-functional projects, and optimizing the supply base and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategy and roadmap for electrical commodities
  • Drive and coordinate cross-functional projects within electricals
  • Lead annual negotiations with suppliers to optimize the supply base and supply chain
  • Build close relationships with key suppliers in the commodity, focusing on long-term value delivery through supplier account management and partnerships
  • Oversee and coordinate end-to-end optimization projects for electricals
  • Work closely with the matrix regional organization on strategy execution
