Postdoctoral Researcher in Digital Media and Communication

At the University of Copenhagen, we are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join our team in the Faculty of Humanities. The successful candidates will become part of a dynamic project examining the impact of digital media on communication systems monitoring Earth's ecosystems.

The positions offer a unique opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary research covering China, Europe, and the United States. Our team is committed to advancing theory development on strategic issues with global ramifications.

The selected applicants will contribute to collaborative and comparative analyses of what IoT is in different world regions and what it could become in the future. This includes document analyses of product information, legislation, and other materials regarding IoT in China, Europe, and the United States, as well as fieldwork in these regions.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Postdoc # 1 – China
  2. Postdoc # 2 – Europe
  3. Postdoc # 3 – United States

The successful applicant for each position must be fluent in speaking and writing both English and Mandarin (for China), or English (for Europe and the United States). Other requirements include academic qualifications at PhD level and specific theoretical and methodological competences in research on digital media and communicative practices.
