Alfa Laval Corporate AB is seeking an Industrial Equipment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering products and solutions for assigned projects according to established standards and procedures. You'll maintain and develop high-level process technology expertise, ensuring technical clarification of new orders prior to initiation, in collaboration with Project Execution functions.
Your main tasks will include overall technical responsibility within defined boundaries in multidisciplinary project teams, including system, mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. You'll also prepare approval documents and create detailed working documents for design purposes. Additionally, you'll support Project Management and Order Engineering by responding to requests such as approval comments, customer technical comments, and class technical comments, and by analyzing proposed changes and deviations from customers.
A bachelor's degree in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical background is required for this role. At least 2-4 years of experience working with industrial equipment or engineered systems is also necessary. A basic understanding of process equipment is essential.
