We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Professor in the field of capacitor materials and fabrication with a strong emphasis on nanomaterials. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in research and development, with expertise in electronic device fabrication, synthesis and processing of nanomaterials, charge dynamics in organic materials, macromolecular physical chemistry, and capacitor materials, devices, and electrical properties.
Responsibilities- Conduct research and development in capacitor materials and fabrication
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop innovative capacitor technologies
- Teach and supervise students in the field of electrical engineering
- Attract external funding for research projects
- PhD in electrical engineering, electronics, or materials science
- Experience with industrial collaboration and research and development
- Strong publication track record and ability to attract external funding
- Relevant teaching experience
The successful candidate will be employed at the University of Southern Denmark's Centre for Industrial Electronics, which is located at the campus of SDU Sønderborg. The Centre is part of the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering.
