Senior Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Controller to join our team at IFU - Investment Fund for Developing Countries. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for preparing accounting figures for quarterly investor reports and annual accounts for selected companies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Controlling annual accounts for portfolio companies and ensuring compliance with IFRS and Danish Annual Accounting Act
- Designing and implementing new controls and procedures to improve financial reporting and risk management
- Managing cash calls and distributions for IFU's managed funds and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Verifying information in IFU's ERP IT system and controlling underlying documentation
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in a similar position within a financial institution or consultancy firm. You will also need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
