Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Director to lead our Inbound Logistics team, responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of raw milk to dairies across Denmark. As a key member of our Danish Logistics organization, you will oversee a team of 350 engaged colleagues and be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Leadership

You will lead the department confidently and proactively, embodying and implementing our corporate culture. You will cooperate with colleagues in other countries to find global solutions and participate as an Arla ambassador in transport networks to influence the political transport agenda in Denmark.

You will proactively implement the interests of the Inbound/Intermediate department in alignment with organizational objectives and consult with global and local stakeholders (e.g., member relations). The Inbound/Intermediate department encompasses all activities related to milk collection, intermediate transport, and our workshops.

You will identify potential for optimization based on key figures and reports. In collaboration with service providers, expert groups, and your team, you will develop measures for holistic process optimization and consistently implement them. You will take responsibility for their implementation to drive safety, quality, effectiveness, digitization, and automation.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will possess a strategic and forward-thinking mindset, with a strong emphasis on development, change management, stakeholder engagement, inclusivity, safety, and sustainability. Collaboration across departments is essential to you, and you actively welcome input from others.

You will hold a relevant master's degree and possess 4-5 years' experience in leading large organizations. Additionally, to successfully deliver on key priorities and drive significant positive business impact, we believe that you have:

• Experience from the logistics/supply chain field or transportation industry
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, and ideally Danish too
• Proficiency in IT tools such as MS Office and knowledge of SAP

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately €80,000 - €110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
