As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative research strategies to advance our understanding of vaccine immunogens.
About the Team
You will join a dynamic and interdisciplinary team of scientists and researchers working on cutting-edge projects to develop novel vaccines against airborne epidemics. Our team is committed to harnessing airway immunity through innovative vaccine research and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Scientific Research**: Develop and execute research plans to unravel protein structures and dynamics, with a focus on applying advanced digital tools, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and molecular modeling.
- Leadership and Management**: Provide guidance and supervision to team members, ensuring the effective execution of research projects.
- Cross-Collaboration**: Participate in cross-cutting project teams to integrate research activities with other groups within NIVI-R and the Department.
Requirements
- Ph.D. and/or M.D. in a relevant field of biology
- Documented research outputs at the international level, including considerable contributions to the development of the discipline and ideally with relevant vaccine-related experience
- Leadership skills able to champion NIVI and NIVI-R's values and motivate diverse teams
