Nordetect is growing its customer base, and we need talented professionals like you to help us achieve our goals. As an Analytical Chemist, you will play a vital role in formulating sensors, analyzing data, and developing statistical models.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  1. Mainly focus on the formulation of sensors, data analysis, and statistical modeling
  2. Work in a multi-disciplinary team with colleagues from various backgrounds
  3. Improve the robustness of our dataset collection process
  4. Visualize and filter data, statistical analysis, and develop data model relationships
  5. Research and development within sensor formulation and functionalizing membranes
  6. Troubleshoot issues with analytical product performance
  7. Collaborate with software engineering, production engineering, and product design teams
  8. Maintain an overview of the laboratories, and chemical inventory management
Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience (3+ years) in analytical chemistry, quality assurance, or similar laboratory roles
  • A Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, biochemistry, or related fields
  • A strong analytical instrumentation background, including method development, troubleshooting, sample preparation, and statistical analysis
  • An understanding of formulation and fabrication of chemosensors
  • Experience with paper-based sensing technologies is preferred
  • Experience with spectrophotometric analysis techniques is necessary
  • Good problem-solving and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English
