Job Description

This exciting opportunity is available for a talented Regulatory MA Deputy Manager to join our team in Abacus Medicine A/S. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing one of three teams in the Regulatory Marketing Authorization department, focusing on new application and maintenance processes for parallel trading.

You will lead ~twenty colleagues in a team to create applications for new and existing product licenses for medicines to Authorities, proactively implementing optimization measures to meet our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and commercial department needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet KPIs within the team
  2. Lead PI license applications and their maintenance
  3. Support the Regulatory and Product Development Management with strategy implementation
  4. Develop the parallel distribution marketing authorization function continuously
  5. Provide regulatory expertise through in-depth understanding and experience
  6. Participate in change management to increase efficiency in licensing activities
  7. Maintain internal and external expectations up-to-date
  8. Take responsibility for internal procedures and process improvements
  9. Manage team capacity
  10. Focus on employee satisfaction
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an exceptional leader with excellent communication skills and confident management abilities. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding people management skills, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback to their team members.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in a similar or relevant position
  • Experience in structured administrative tasks
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in pharmaceutics or regulatory affairs
  • At least 1 year's experience in a leadership position, preferably in pharma/biotech and/or a pharma service organization
  • Fluent English language skills (written and verbal)
