Job Summary

">

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Advisor within our Neuroscience team to focus on migraine treatment. As a key member of our team, you will represent the affiliate's medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned products in the field of neuroscience.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with experts and academic centers; attend scientific congresses, arrange advisory groups, discussion forums, and symposia.">
  • Deliver scientific presentations and medical education to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders, including internal scientific training.">
  • Monitor the environment for competitive intelligence and develop summaries of key messages and trends for both internal and external use.">
  • Review and approval of advertising material to ensure that medical/scientific content is correct and in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines.">
  • Provide medical/scientific support to marketing strategies/Brand Plans and key commercial initiatives, as required, and ensure implementation of Medical Functional Plans.">
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable national laws and regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, AbbVie's policies and procedures, and accepted standards of best practice.">
  • Contribute to evidence generation by identifying evidence gaps and participating in initiating and following up clinical trials and medical projects, such as Phase IV, observational, registry, and epidemiological studies.">

Requirements

">
  • University degree in Medicine or PhD, Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences, or equivalent Life Science.">
  • Experience within the field of neuroscience will be considered an advantage.">
  • Keen interest in developing and maintaining expert scientific knowledge within the assigned therapeutic area/product and ability to hold high-level scientific discussions.">
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills, including ability to clearly and inspiringly communicate complex scientific concepts.">
  • Fluency in written and oral Danish and English is required.">
  • High customer orientation.">
  • Strong commitment to compliance with relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity.">
  • Strong self-leadership and team-player mentality, team-oriented approach, able to develop and support relationships across the organization as well as with key external stakeholders and the healthcare community at large.">
  • Willingness to travel.">
  • Sound judgment, strong planning and organizational skills, and ability to get things done.">
  • Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity and rapid changes.">
