Vestas Technology & Operations > Nacelles Manufacturing > Tools Concept is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for organizing, budgeting, planning, and completing Tool projects end-to-end, including international coordination of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tool solutions and strategies to support Vestas factories worldwide.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to design and develop tools and equipment for new products.
  • Ensure timely delivery and commissioning of tools and equipment, prioritizing safety and quality standards.
  • Participate in early design phases with a manufacturing tools and equipment perspective.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation options to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, leading technically complex projects.
  • Engineering or business degree combined with relevant project management education.
  • Technical understanding or technical background combined with equipment and automation knowledge.
  • Experience in project management, particularly in manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of new product introductions in manufacturing environments.
  • Technical knowledge of design and development of complex industrial equipment.
  • Experience with Microsoft packages, SAP, BI, or equivalent EPR knowledge.

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, CE, and safety standards.
  • Holistic view and technical knowledge, able to build bridges between stakeholders, engineering staff, and suppliers.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to motivate people.
  • Customer-focused and solution-oriented, with high accountability.
  • Ability to coordinate multicultural and diverse teams globally.
  • Proven ability to work with limited supervision and in teams under tight deadlines.
  • Open-minded and good at sharing and gathering information within a team, with good communication skills in English.
