About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Danske Commodities A/S. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in facilitating data-driven value creation in our global energy trading company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and users to discover new features and data products, leveraging billions of data points.
  • Analyse, design, and develop high-quality, scalable data products to support business processes.
  • Maintain and continually improve products in the portfolio and the underlying data platform(s).
  • Review other team members' code and share learnings within the team and with the data engineering community.
  • Learn new technologies and transform learnings into applicable tools to benefit business stakeholders and personal development.
About the Team

You will join our Data Engineering and Architecture (DARC) team, consisting of over 30 data engineers, data scientists, and software developers. We are a curious and motivated bunch, with a culture that is informal and focused on value creation. Personal development is a high priority, and you will have the opportunity to leverage your existing skill set and add new competencies.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, with at least two years of experience.
  • Experience in dimensional modelling, with at least two years of experience.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Potential experience with other programming languages for data, such as Python or Scala.
