About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As an Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping our Operational Technology (OT) Security strategy and driving digital transformation across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement OT security strategies to ensure the integrity and security of our automation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to evaluate and enable IT, automation, and digital solutions, ensuring a balance between speed, simplicity, and scalability.
  • Assess requirements and influence design decisions to ensure automation solutions meet business needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to automation engineers, specialists, and architects.
Requirements
  • Master's, bachelor's, or technician degree in automation and/or IT, with technical experience in the automation/production industry.
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: MES, PCS, IOT, PLC, and Industry 4.0.
  • Understanding of automation architecture and IT solutions within a production environment, preferably in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated industry.
  • Project management skills and experience in OT Security, an advantage.
  • Fluent levels of verbal and written English.
