Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

Avoiding cyber threats requires a strategic approach. Systematic is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to lead our efforts in protecting critical software. The Role as Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

Cybersecurity has become a crucial aspect of modern business, and Systematic is committed to strengthening its capabilities in this area. As our new Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you will join our IT department covering Infrastructure & Operations, Development Tools, Business Applications, and IT Security. You will be part of a team working together to ensure Systematic's systems are secure against ever-evolving cyber threats.

You will support not only our software developers but also your colleagues across ITM and other business services. Your main task will be to develop and maintain our roadmap for improving IT security. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing security solutions, performing risk assessments, and threat modeling. In close collaboration with our Chief Information Security Officer, you will develop and maintain our strategic IT security roadmap while ensuring adherence to compliance and policy standards.

Your daily tasks would include:

  1. Staying up-to-date on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies, providing guidance and recommendations to senior leadership.
  2. Vendor selection and liaison.
  3. Conducting security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks and threats to our systems and data.
  4. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify security requirements and integrate security into all IT initiatives.
  5. Monitoring and analyzing security issues, assisting in incident response.
  6. Security awareness and training.

About You

  • You have a strong educational background in IT and multiple years of experience in IT security or similar.
  • You have +3 years of experience working as an IT architect with a specialization in security.
  • You possess strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS Controls.
  • Prior experience with the Microsoft Security suite is advantageous.
  • You are proficient in security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
  • You have professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

You should be able to take on technical leadership of our IT Security area, ensuring our systems fit together, adapting policies to current needs, and connecting with various stakeholders to present complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues.

Please note that due to the sensitive nature of our work with security-classified systems, you will need to provide a clean criminal record to obtain security clearance and cannot have lived outside the EU or NATO countries for the past 7 years.
