We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our team at Onomondo. As a member of our engineering team, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our cloud-native platform, ensuring its scalability, availability, and security.

About the Role

This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-native platforms and services. You will automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our platform and services using infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Enabling individual teams to be autonomous while following best practices.
  2. Monitoring the platform and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  3. Developing and maintaining documentation and best practices for the platform and our services.
  4. Influencing how we develop the future of our platform.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with cloud providers like AWS and strong experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Bash, and/or Go for scripting and automation.
  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
