You are invited to take on the role of Corporate Counsel in our EMEA legal team based out of our Copenhagen hub. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Group General Counsel, focusing on Data Privacy compliance both internally and externally. As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Siteimprove, our Partners, and our services adhere to global privacy laws. Your tasks will also include handling various customer requests/negotiations, as well as training our employees globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, including DPAs, with our customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Ensuring corporate governance and compliance for our +15 subsidiaries.
  • Identifying business risks and devising practical solutions to mitigate such risks.
  • Managing cross-departmental compliance projects and coordinating with key stakeholders from across the organization (e.g., Finance, Customer Support, Marketing, and IT).
  • M&A activities.
About You:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Data Privacy and security matters in either a law firm or as in-house counsel in Europe.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • A Master's degree in Law (Cand.jur, Cand.merc.jur, or equivalent).
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to form effective relationships in a multicultural environment.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced, agile working environment with quick turnaround times.
