The Role of R&D Engineer
">As an R&D Engineer at ITW Densit, you will play a central role in developing, testing, and optimizing cement-based products and polymer-modified solutions. You will work across multiple applications, including wind energy, industrial flooring, and wear technology.
Key Responsibilities:
">- New product development (NPD): Leading the development of cutting-edge cement-based products for various applications, ensuring they meet the evolving demands of the market.
- Research and innovation: Investigating new and alternative materials, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our solutions.
- Plan and perform full-scale mock-up tests for external certification.
- Raw material and finished product control: Ensuring the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products.
- Testing and evaluation: Conducting tests on alternative raw materials to ensure product consistency and sustainability.
- Technical support: Providing expert technical support to sales and production teams, ensuring that product specifications and capabilities are communicated clearly.
What We Expect From You
">We expect strong analytical skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Excellent communication skills are also required, along with a proactive approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A background in chemical engineering or civil engineering with a specialization in cement technology, inorganic chemistry, petroleum engineering solutions, or well cementing is necessary. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the cement, cement additives, concrete, or tile adhesive industry is also expected.
