About the Role:
Svendborg Brakes, a Regal Rexnord brand, is seeking a highly skilled Global Quality Control Director to lead our quality control processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams across locations, ensuring safety process compliance, and driving quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop teams responsible for incoming/outgoing goods inspection, calibration, and supplier quality engineers.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure safety process compliance and facilitate safety committee meetings. Conduct daily safety Gemba walks and oversee safety reporting and activity planning.
- Quality Strategy: Oversee the global quality control processes, including non-conformance analysis, PPAP documentation, and systematic calibration. Ensure alignment with Svendborg Brakes quality targets and values.
- Strategic Oversight: Plan strategic initiatives within quality, safety, sustainability, management reviews, and risk evaluations. Manage the QC/SQE processes and activities in Denmark, while also driving global compliance.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve product quality and quality planning in response to product or process changes. Provide professional coaching in problem-solving and quality methodologies.
- Customer Focus: Ensure timely responses to customer requests and ensure full product compliance with customer requirements.
