Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Desktop Support Engineer. As a key member of our IT service team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our employees.

In this role, you will be working closely with our colleagues to identify and resolve technical issues related to desktop hardware and software. Your duties will include troubleshooting Windows operating systems and applications, managing DNS and DHCP configurations, supporting Microsoft Office 365 packages, and utilizing Microsoft Intune for device management and security. You will also be required to follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management, as well as assist with the deployment and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have proven experience in a Level 2 desktop support role within a trading or finance services environment. You should have strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting, as well as experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP configuration and management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 packages is also essential, along with familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also required.
