Are you passionate about creating sustainable solutions for chronic disease treatments? Novo Nordisk is seeking a highly motivated CVP Partner for Environment & Energy to help shape innovative approaches for a greener future. You will join our project team in Kalundborg, where we are investing heavily in expanding our manufacturing facilities for chronic disease treatments.

This is a unique opportunity to work with sustainability and environmental sound design in a large and complex project. As our new CVP Partner for Environment & Energy, you will play a critical role in leading and supporting various environmental and energy initiatives across large construction projects.

The Position

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and guiding energy and environmental initiatives across a large construction project.
• Championing and achieving targets related to environmental sustainability.
• Maintaining environmental compliance with authorities and ISO management systems, including ESG reporting.
• Providing expertise and support to project management, ensuring licenses to operate and sustainability adherence.
• Working with internal and external stakeholders, including management, project managers, subject matter experts, and engineering partners.

You will also contribute to strategic company-wide initiatives such as the Novo Nordisk Environmental Strategy and Circular for Zero. Additionally, you will be an active member of a cross-organizational environmental knowledge-sharing network, facilitating the exchange of best practices and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• An academic background within engineering, chemical engineering, sustainability, or a similar field.
• Some years of experience in a role focused on the environment.
• The ability to navigate a complex process landscape.
• Knowledge about Danish and European environmental legislation.
• Knowledge about processes within the pharma industry or another GMP-regulated industry will be an advantage.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Danish.

As a person, you have a fundamental desire to make a difference within environmental sustainability. You possess a high personal drive, work independently, and can focus on key areas. You aim to build extensive networks across the organization and excel at building relationships. Additionally, you have excellent stakeholder and project management skills, with experience in planning, presenting data, and motivating key stakeholders at different levels of seniority.

About the Department

You will be joining PS API Expansions, a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all major API Expansions projects across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. We build and design our future API facilities as multi-product facilities with the flexibility to accommodate future processes and display state-of-the-art technology and working environment. We focus on delivering the highest quality to patients globally in an efficient and environmentally sustainable way.
