Chief Financial Officer

Blackswansexist is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our ambitious scale-up journey. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring financial stability, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning with overall business goals. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Financial Operations and Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, tax, and treasury functions. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investment and Fundraising: Develop and execute strategies for securing investment and funding to support the company's ambitious growth strategy. Collaborate with the executive team to prepare financial models, forecasts, and business plans for potential investors.
  • Strategic Projects and Initiatives: Support and oversee major strategic projects, including new product launches, market expansion, and M&A activities. Provide financial insights and guidance for key business decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the food or biotechnology industries.
  • Demonstrated success in securing and managing investments, including Series A, B, and C funding.
  • Extensive experience in financial project management, particularly in overseeing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, standards, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders.
