Clinical Supplies is a key function within Novo Nordisk, responsible for delivering drugs for the company's clinical trials worldwide. Our tasks range from receiving clinical protocols to final delivery of clinical products at trial sites, including planning, labeling, packaging, and shipping.

Our processes involve numerous steps and handovers, making efficient optimization and digitalization crucial to our success. As a Senior Project Manager in Clinical Supplies, you will lead projects to optimize and digitalize our processes, making a tangible impact on our operations.

Your Role

You will be responsible for leading projects that drive process optimization and digitalization in Clinical Supplies. This includes negotiating project resources with line managers and managing these resources during project execution.

Gathering input from cross-functional teams and creating plans to help the team produce deliverables on schedule is also a critical aspect of your role. Additionally, you will assess business case foundations and challenge assumptions to ensure the best possible outcomes.

You will engage in project initiation, hand-over, and process verification, tracking progress, addressing issues with team members and line managers, and reporting to steering groups.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a master's degree related to supply chain, engineering, economics, natural science, or similar, with over 5 years of solid project management experience.

A curious and impatient mindset, eager to challenge the status quo, accompanied by strong change management skills, is essential. You should exhibit good interpersonal skills and proven experience in managing project teams, stakeholders, and steering groups at different organizational levels.

An interest in understanding the 'why' and effectively leveraging the team and colleagues to make the best decisions is also required. Ability to thrive in uncertain environments is crucial.

About the Department and Company

The Business Development & Support team in Supply Chain Optimization drives projects across Clinical Supplies and executes strategic initiatives. Besides project managers, our team consists of business analysts responsible for mid and long-term capacity planning, data analytics, and business cases.

We strive to be the preferred partner in Clinical Supplies by collaborating closely with our sister IT Development team and various cross-functional stakeholders, positioning us to make significant contributions and create tangible impact.

What We Offer

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
