In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Safety of machinery and process equipment.
  • Commissioning of Machinery and Process Equipment.
  • Safety legislation and regulatory aspects.
  • Safety and risk management.
  • Risk assessment and hazardous areas with flammable liquids and dust assessments.
  • Hazardous area classification (ATEX) and explosion barriers and documentation.
  • Safety solutions in complex installations with explosive atmospheres.

To succeed in this position, you should:

  • Have a relevant technical educational background such as Marine Engineer, Engineer, Electrician or equivalent.
  • Hold 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Possess solid experience in machinery safety, the machinery and ATEX directives and harmonized standards.
  • Show a self-starting approach and drive, while also being able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Enjoy knowledge sharing and collaborating in teams.
