This is an exciting opportunity to join our AI Team as a highly skilled AI professional. As a key member of this team, you will collaborate with senior team members, business leaders, subject matter experts, data scientists, and data engineers to develop impactful data science and machine learning solutions.

Main Responsibilities

">
  • You will contribute to validating and conducting technical feasibility assessments of high-impact data science use cases.
  • You will work with cross-functional product teams to develop and productize data-driven components, driving and accelerating business value across Vestas' value chain.
  • You will assist in the development of methods, solution architectures, and best practices that can scale data solutions across the organization.
  • You will contribute to the maturation of our data platforms and the enhancement of the data science tool stack.
  • You will act as a bridge builder between data product teams and the AI Team to help mature and consolidate data science best practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

">
  • 1-3 years of experience developing and/or deploying statistical or machine learning models, ideally with tangible applications in a corporate context.
  • MSc in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or relevant.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Hands-on experience with complex data manipulation, model building, and statistical analysis.
  • Expertise in forecasting methods and data visualization to inform business decisions.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with both business and technology teams.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
