Sales Engineer - Technical Consultant
Job Summary:
Gemü, a leading global manufacturer of high-quality valves, measurement and control systems, and other process components, is seeking a Sales Engineer - Technical Consultant to strengthen their position in the Danish market. As part of the team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through technical consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Consulting: Conduct detailed technical analyses of customer processes and challenges, developing tailored solutions based on Gemü's comprehensive product portfolio.
- Business Development: Expand Gemü's business within the energy and water treatment sectors by identifying and delivering tailored solutions to new and existing customers.
- Customer Relationships: Build and nurture long-term customer relationships through regular contact, technical consulting, and follow-up.
- Technical Support: Support customers with technical expertise throughout the sales process in close corporation with internal technical sales teams.
Requirements:
- Technical Strength: Relevant technical education (e.g., mechanical, chemical, or process engineering) and at least 4 years of experience in a similar technical sales role.
- Customer Orientation: Passion for helping customers find the best solutions and building trust through expertise.
- Results- and Team Orientation: Goal-oriented and strong drive to succeed as a team.
- Communication Skills: Skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing, able to present technical topics in an understandable way.
- Independence: Thrive on working independently but also collaborate well in a team.
- Fluency: Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
