Our research environment focuses on microbial ecology and plant-microbiome interactions, with a goal of developing sustainable solutions for agriculture. We believe that a deeper understanding of the plant root-associated microbiome and its impact on plant stressors such as soil-borne pathogens is crucial for achieving this goal.
As a Tenure Track Assistant Professor, you will contribute to our research environment and contribute to the development of the department. Your primary tasks will be to conduct independent research, including publication in high-impact scientific journals, teach and supervise students, and attract external research funding.
- You have a PhD in plant pathology, microbiology, computational biology, microbial ecology, or a similar field.
- You have experience in scientific writing and have published papers in high-quality journals.
- You have innovative research plans and a clear potential to perform groundbreaking research and attract external funding.
- You have international research collaborations and experience with joint papers and applications.
