Cloud Infrastructure Architect for Palsgaard's Expansion

Palsgaard is doubling its production capacity in the coming years, necessitating a cloud-based ERP and Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

We're seeking an IT Infrastructure Solution Architect to develop and operate this cloud-based infrastructure. As a key member of our global IT team, you'll work closely with stakeholders to scope, develop, and implement IT projects from an infrastructure perspective.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring alignment between individual stakeholders' needs and the overall infrastructure through project management.
  • Hybrid IT infrastructure operations, focusing on the setup, user administration, security, and monitoring of various systems and services according to ITIL principles.
  • Developing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure technology, platforms, and architectures.
  • Infrastructure elements of IT application execution, including setup, user administration, security, and preparation of IT design development.
  • Participating in the design of the infrastructure and supporting the 24/7 on-call duty scheme (every 6 weeks).

To be successful, you'll have an educational background in Computer Engineering or Information Technology with a focus on infrastructure, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience. You'll also possess extensive knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and practices, including hands-on experience with Azure. Your business-minded approach, interpersonal skills, and ability to scope, plan, and develop solutions that meet individual stakeholders' needs without compromising overall IT architecture are essential.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Danish and English, both written and orally, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
