The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technical Engineer to join our Abbott Electrophysiology Division in Denmark. As a Field Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and advice to our clients. This position's primary function is to attend implants, follow-ups, and support any issues related to high voltage and low voltage stimulation devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical consultation, teaching, and support on the use of all products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the country healthcare market.
  • Provide technical support to the EP salesforce.
  • Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by EMEA or customers.

Requirements

  • University degree within biomedical engineering or other related scientific field.
  • Ideal electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge would be considered a strong asset.
  • Very good command of English and Danish (both written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and customer-focus.
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
