We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Civil Project Manager to oversee the execution of complex construction projects in Greater Copenhagen.
Job Description:
- Lead and Execute: Manage the entire design and construction process, ensuring compliance with quality, budget, timeline, and safety protocols
- Team Leadership: Coordinate with civil design consultants, factory teams, and process engineers to harmonise design and site activities
- Project Management: Prepare and monitor detailed schedules and tender documents, manage contractor claims and ensure effective budget control
- Health & Safety: Develop a robust health and safety framework, working closely with the Site Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance and safeguard project teams
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, proactive communication with core teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and timely project delivery
- Travel Requirements: Moderate travel is expected as you'll need to be on-site to manage various project activities
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with a strong focus on project management
- Experience: hands-on project management experience, leading large-scale projects
- Experience in industrial projects is highly desirable
- Skills: Excellent project management capabilities, strong leadership, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with PRINCE2 methodology is essential also as Capex
- Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory. Danish language skills are a significant plus
- Other Requirements: Must hold a valid driver's license
