About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial controller to join our team at IKEA Taastrup. As a key member of our financial department, you will play a vital role in driving our financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Take part in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
  2. Prepare annual accounts and provide support to the audit process, focusing on tax compliance.
  3. Develop and implement effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  5. Deliver high-quality financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance or related field, preferably with a certification in accounting (HD Accountancy or similar).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a financial controller, preferably in a large company with experience in Danish tax management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP and other accounting software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken).
