Sourcing Leader

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Leader to join our team at RTX, a leading provider of wireless solutions in the electronics industry. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and ensuring the procurement of high-quality products at competitive costs.

With your solid market understanding and expertise in developing and executing sourcing strategies, you will lead cross-functional teams to analyze spending patterns, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement effective supply chain management practices. Your strong stakeholder management, project management, and leadership skills will enable you to build and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers and contractors, driving long-term partnerships that benefit both parties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with business objectives
• Managing supplier contracts and negotiations to ensure optimal pricing and delivery terms
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to communicate market trends and development
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement through process reviews and cost-saving initiatives

You will have a global team reporting directly to you, working together to improve our sourcing activities by analyzing company spending, supplying partnerships, and new possibilities. A few points to focus on in the first year would be taking ownership of the growth and progress of the RTX sourcing strategy, showcasing your understanding of how sourcing & procurement works at RTX, and demonstrating the ability to turn developmental work into finished products.
