We strive to design and implement IT networks that meet the evolving needs of our business. As a Network Engineer at Banking Circle, you will be part of our IT Operations team, working closely with the rest of the Engineering Operations team.

Job Description

  • Maintain and operate IT network infrastructure on a daily basis
  • Operate firewalls, routers, DNS, and DHCP systems
  • Work on a tech stack primarily focused on Cisco and Azure services
  • Assist in designing and architecting IT infrastructure
  • Implement IT network changes during system upgrades
  • Improve current configurations by challenging the status quo
  • Enhance the design and efficiency of existing IT networks
  • Troubleshoot and remediate issues with IT network infrastructure

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working as an IT Network Engineer in a previous position. A strong knowledge and skillset related to management of different Cisco components, including Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, and Cisco Meraki, is required.

Explicit experience within device deployment, firewalling, remote access, Lan-To-Lan IPsec VPN, dynamic routing (BGP & OSPF), wired & wireless 802.1X implementations, MDM implementation, and/or layer 2 switching would be beneficial.

Cisco CCNP Enterprise & Security certification or similar would be considered an advantage.

Experience with cloud networking, specifically regarding Azure, such as VNET configuration and peering, subnetting, NSGs, and gateways management, is valuable. Knowledge on Palo Alto Firewall series and Panorama Network Security Management would also be considered advantageous.

A good understanding of various Linux distributions, iptables, MySQL/MariaDB, Nginx, Apache, Rsyslog, Syslog-ng, Docker, and scripting would be beneficial.

In addition, knowledge of Active Directory (both Azure and On-Prem) as well as enterprise PKI deployment and management and Zscaler as secure web gateway would be considered beneficial.

Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing, is a requirement for this role. Any additional language skills would be a plus.
