Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Lead to join our team at GlobalConnect. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for shaping and enhancing our IT security architecture, leading risk management efforts, and ensuring security policies are followed and adapted to evolving regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security-by-design principles across all stages of system development and decommissioning.
- Lead risk management efforts, including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain metrics to monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT security and compliance programs.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees to ensure they understand security best practices and can recognize potential security threats.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in cybersecurity or IT within regulated industries, with a solid understanding of common IT security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in endpoint and application security practices, as well as application vulnerability assessments.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and practices, with a strong familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
- Familiarity with secure development practices, security assessments, and data privacy regulations.
- Fluent in written and spoken Business English, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
