Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to join our team and drive the implementation of our bioCCU technology at our commercial plant. The successful candidate will lead the development and integration of a Distributed Control System (DCS) that connects bioreactors and various process sub-units.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement DCS architecture and control specifications, ensuring process security, data management, and system robustness.
- Collaborate with process engineering and operations teams to capture operational philosophy and develop control specifications.
- Engage with vendors to ensure equipment compatibility with the overall control philosophy.
- Oversee factory acceptance tests (FATs), site acceptance tests (SATs), commissioning, and startup activities.
- Assist with procedure development for safety instrumented systems (SIS).
- You have hands-on experience with infrastructure, control systems, and process automation development.
- You possess strong technical skills in automation and ability to develop tools and processes for automation engineering.
- You have expertise in industrial control systems, risk management, process improvement, and project management.
- A competitive salary of $120,000 per year.
