About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious researcher to contribute to the research profile of the Department of Computer Science. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their research program, collaborate with colleagues, and teach undergraduate and graduate level courses.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in software engineering, focusing on areas such as AI and software engineering, analytics, dependability and security, evolution, human and social aspects of software, requirements and modeling, testing and analysis, formal methods, programming languages, and systems design and implementation.
  • Develop and teach courses in software engineering, including undergraduate and graduate level courses.
  • Supervise students, including BSc and MSc students, and provide guidance on research projects.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary research projects and collaborate with other departments within the university.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A PhD degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Postdoctoral research experience, preferably in software engineering.
  • A strong publication record, with a focus on high-impact journals and conferences.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
