Sustainability Operations Lead Specialist

As the Head of Sustainability Operations, you will be responsible for leading our efforts to decarbonize shipping and achieve our net-zero target by 2040. You will oversee the development and implementation of sustainable practices across our organization.
You will work closely with our trading, origination, legal, compliance, finance, and market analytics teams to drive commercial outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Sustainability Operations team, guiding day-to-day activities for a smooth mass balance operation in Europe.
- Coordinating with physical operations on green fuel logistical movements, supporting trials of new sustainable products.
- Developing a commercial focus within Sustainability Operations, liaising with the trading department.
- Optimizing green fuel subsidies and penalties to ensure cost competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, administration, or shipping & logistics.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a related role within the Oil & Gas operations, bunker barge operations, shipping, and servicing customers in a BtB environment.
- Direct experience working within an ISCC framework covering green fuels with an expert understanding of ISCC audits and mass balance operations.
