About the RoleThe successful candidate will report directly to the Director of the Internal Audit & Compliance Controlling department, based in Copenhagen. This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders from clusters and functional areas to identify, monitor, and validate risks and controls across our global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sustainability Review and Mitigation: Conduct thorough reviews of sustainability data, identifying gaps and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Fraud Vulnerability Assessments: Perform in-depth assessments to evaluate fraud vulnerabilities and recommend actionable mitigations.
- Process Validation and Gaps Identification: Review internal and external processes to pinpoint areas for improvement, suggesting sustainable solutions to address identified gaps.
- Forensic Investigations and Whistle-Blower Reports: Lead investigations into potential forensic cases and whistle-blower reports, working closely with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
- Action Plan Development and Implementation: Design and implement action plans to address identified gaps, collaborating closely with business partners to ensure successful issue resolution.
- Strategic Partnerships: Foster trusted relationships with colleagues across various departments, serving as a valuable partner in driving business success.
Requirements
We seek an experienced team player who excels in balancing theoretical and practical approaches:
- Proven Track Record: Minimum 7+ years of experience in compliance or audit work, preferably within an external audit firm or similar role.
- Relevant Education and Certifications: Hold a relevant university degree (e.g., audit, economics) and possess relevant certifications (Authorized auditor, Legal, Fraud, or Forensic examiner).
- Sustainability Experience: Previous experience in sustainability review is highly desirable.
- Compliance and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate exceptional insight into compliance reviews and the ability to distill complex situations into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Language Proficiency: Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Showcase analytical acumen, along with the ability to navigate complex issues and drive informed decision-making.
