About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Manager to join our SMARTplant Agile Release Train (ART) team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive strategically important projects and act as a technical leader towards the teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and act as a sparring partner across our five teams, leading a group of architects to design and develop a large application portfolio.
  • Be the decision-maker and take the lead on activities in the five teams, analysing, designing, and implementing secure and scalable solutions, aligning business requirements with IT capabilities through the assigned architects.
  • Ensure stable operations by planning ahead and pushing our cloud focus.
  • Manage the overall architecture discipline in SMARTplant, ensuring that an updated strategic outlook, architectural runway, and relevant artifacts are communicated effectively.
  • Advise and oversee the implementation of architecture designs that are secure, reliable, maintainable, scalable, usable, and perform well.
  • Work closely with others in the ART leadership group as well as product owners, business stakeholders, architecture CoEs, and architects to incorporate company-wide architecture and clarify any challenges and obstacles.

Requirements:

  • Experience in data migration strategies, tools, and best practices to ensure a smooth transition from our existing database used for planning in time series to the new planning system.
  • Knowledge of technological trends and experience in strategic planning and technical leadership across multiple teams.
  • Experience working within operational technology (OT).
  • Think strategically, have strong problem-solving skills, and are a natural leader.
  • Are able to identify, compare, select, and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs.
  • Are experienced in working with architectural artefacts, disciplines, and roadmaps.
