This managerial position involves providing leadership and fostering motivation within a team of skilled freight forwarders. The ideal candidate will thrive in an independent role within a dynamic industry where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities include driving performance improvements to meet and exceed KPI targets, prioritizing and delegating tasks effectively among team members, ensuring that customer inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally, participating in customer visits and building strong relationships, actively contributing to the development and coaching of the team by identifying growth opportunities and training needs, acting as a point of escalation for customers, operations, overseas offices, and other stakeholders, monitoring overall customer activity and taking proactive action as needed, reviewing and analyzing department GP performance down to the file level, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
To be considered for this position, we are looking for someone who has experience in airfreight, temperature-controlled shipments, and GDP compliance, brings passion to their work and is eager to join an organization that encourages living out this passion, may already be in a managerial or senior role and is looking to take the next step in their career, envisions themselves as a leader in an organization where 'Respect and Results' guide interactions with employees, customers, and investors, and is comfortable using IT systems and can communicate professionally in both Danish and English.
