Medicinal Chemist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled medicinal chemist to join our team at The Biopôle. As a medicinal chemist lead, you will contribute to the discovery and development of innovative therapeutics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and synthesizing macrocycle projects to advance our drug discovery pipeline
  • Leading in vitro pharmacology efforts to evaluate the efficacy and safety of potential drug candidates
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the development of novel therapeutics
  • Providing scientific input on project biomarker strategies to inform development decisions

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Ph.D. in biology, biomedicine, or a related field, and at least 5 years of industry experience in Pharma/Biotech. Expertise in mammalian cell culture and assay development, troubleshooting, and optimization is required.

A strong background in immunology and diseases driven by inflammatory processes is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and a positive and solution-focused mindset are essential.
