Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional researcher and academic leader with expertise in veterinary clinical pathology. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research, providing research leadership and management, teaching and examining students, as well as leading the University of Copenhagen Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. The position requires strong laboratory management, leadership and administrative skills, as well as experience in research-based teaching and education at pre- and postgraduate levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research in veterinary clinical pathology, including publication and communication of results
  • Provide research leadership and management, including supervision of junior researchers and development of research plans
  • Teach and examine students at undergraduate and graduate levels, with a focus on research-based education
  • Lead the University of Copenhagen Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, including management of staff and resources
