Process Engineering Expert

We are looking for an exceptional Process Engineering Expert to drive the further development of our activities within this field. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on small and large development projects, collaborating closely with customers across multiple industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify concept and detailed solutions for process design for manufacturing and process facilities
  • Lead a team of process engineers and provide guidance on process design, quality improvement, and resource utilization
  • Develop and implement process solutions, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and requirements
  • Design and review P&ID diagrams, technical descriptions, and equipment selections
  • Perform process & hydraulic calculations
  • Draft and review specification of process equipment and evaluate vendor proposals
  • Assume process responsibility for control strategy and commissioning of process utilities
  • Apply good engineering principles and process safety principles in designing systems
  • Conduct on-site inspections of designed systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Process/Chemical Engineering with relevant experience
  • Proven track record in chemical/process plant engineering industry
  • Expertise in P&IDs design using AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with I&C equipment
  • Possess practical knowledge of ATEX and pneumatic transport issues
  • Industry experience in hydrogen and life science sectors is a plus
  • Familiarity with Pipe Flow Software, Microsoft Visio, and Engineering Base (Aucotec AG)
  • Native-level fluency in English (spoken and written)
