The Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Leader to drive supply chain optimization initiatives and develop strategies through close cooperation with stakeholders. As Global Category Manager, your job includes:

• Developing and implementing commercial and technical purchasing projects
• Collaborating with R&D on material testing and audits
• Finding opportunities, negotiating, and maintaining commercial agreements with suppliers

This role requires you to stay updated on the international metal market and follow developments in new materials, processes, and markets to be a professional counterpart to our worldwide suppliers.

Your Background

You have a graduate degree in engineering or purchasing, relevant business education, or similar. Practical and theoretical experience in manufacturing component processes is highly valued. You have several years of work experience and a good commercial track record, either from a purchasing and/or sales position. Experience in international negotiations and supplier relations (SRM) is essential.
