About the Job
This position will be responsible for ensuring effective production planning, maintenance execution, and optimization of bottleneck operations. You will lead a team of experienced production planners with varying competencies and seniority, providing guidance and coaching to enhance their performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Planning: Develop and implement production plans, stock levels, and maintenance schedules that meet business objectives.
- Execution: Collaborate with tactical planners to ensure stable and effective production execution.
- Maximizing Output: Identify and address bottlenecks to optimize production processes.
- Scenario Preparation: Create and present production scenarios to the management group to inform strategic decision-making.
- Strategic Direction: Continuously improve planning processes, standards, and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leadership: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the planning team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Academic background in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
- Several years of planning experience in the global pharmaceutical industry or a production unit, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to engage employees at all levels.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Danish skills or willingness to learn are advantageous.
