About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Risk Manager to join our team at Danske Bank. As a key member of our Business Controls and Product Management unit, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our corporate and institutional banking business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise business stakeholders on risk management strategies and provide guidance on regulatory requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management frameworks and policies
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of key regulations and industry best practices
  • Act as a subject matter expert and sparring partner for day-to-day risk and control questions
  • Support the business in implementing relevant policies and instructions
  • Assist in awareness training of colleagues in the business areas
  • Provide input to and support the preparation of reporting to senior management and risk committees
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with risk, compliance, or other related areas in financial institutions or consultancy
  • Experience with operational risk management and Enterprise Risk Management frameworks is an advantage
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required
  • Relevant degree, preferably in law, economics, or finance
