Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at the Centre for Quantum Mathematics at the University of Southern Denmark. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack applications using classical programming techniques, including machine learning and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop full-stack applications with a back-end utilizing classical programming techniques, including machine learning and data analysis, as well as a front-end GUI.
  2. Ensure the integration of front-end and back-end aspects of the application, focusing on performance and scalability.
  3. Develop and adapt the software solution to meet the specific needs of our clients, with ongoing updates addressing their specific feedback.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  2. Strong foundation in full stack development with experience in Python, ideally with libraries like Pandas, PyTorch, and Tensorflow, and front-end frameworks such as React.
  3. Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects.
  4. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  5. Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  6. Excellent English communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
