Senior Medical Strategist for Neurodegenerative Diseases

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Strategist to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a key member of our Global Medical Affairs team, you will play a critical role in driving the worldwide strategic direction for Alzheimer's disease treatment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing scientific area development strategies, including investigator-related activities, in close collaboration with other functions. You will also represent Global Medical Affairs in global decision boards, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Patient Access, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Research, and Translational Medicine.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Giving input to the Global Medical Affairs strategy, building on new scientific insight and product development.
- Ensuring scientific alignment and facilitating that scientific knowledge is appropriately communicated and understood internally and externally.
- Serving as an external liaison between Novo Nordisk and the scientific community, physicians, and physician organizations.
About the Role
We are looking for an individual with a strong scientific background and neurology experience. A minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant field is required, but a Medical Doctor degree and/or PhD is considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical and/or Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Development experience, outstanding communication and presentation skills, project management experience, therapeutic expertise/previous pharma track record in the field of neurodegenerative diseases, and fluency in English, both spoken and written.
