Global Construction Procurement Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Manager to join our team, supporting offshore wind farm projects globally during the construction phase. As a key member of our Global Construction Procurement team, you will be responsible for contract management of high-value, complex contracts, ensuring contractual deliverables are met during the construction phase.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract management of high-value, complex contracts, including drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts and claims.
  • Closely collaborate with project managers and package teams, advising on contractual and commercial issues, identifying risks, and minimizing impacts to the project.
  • Undertake Single Point of Contact (SPOC) role, providing coordination between CM and PM teams, with regular meetings during the construction phase.
  • Manage contractual and commercial matters, including drafting employer communications, responding to contractor correspondence, and handling change management and claim management.
  • Coordinate all commercial operations for the respective package, including processing payment applications, forecasting costs, and commercial reporting to the project.
  • Undertake procurement tasks for the respective package during the construction phase, including procuring additional equipment, tools, and scope of work, effective use of SAP.

Requirements:

  • University degree in technical fields, preferably with an engineering background or business management.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in power plant construction projects, with experience in the offshore market being advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP and MS Office, with proficiency in collaborating with multiple stakeholders in the construction process.
  • Very good communication skills in English, both orally and written, with additional language skills being a valuable addition.
