AI Engineer Job Description

We are Heimdal Security, a leading cybersecurity company, and we are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust backend services using Python and popular frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Lead efforts in text normalization, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and machine translation to enhance our product offerings.
  • Optimize AI systems for performance and scalability using techniques such as parallel processing and GPU acceleration.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment practices for AI applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Document development processes, code, and innovations.
  • Optimize existing systems for better efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously improving skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Python and at least one of the following frameworks: FastAPI, Django, Flask.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering principles and experience in managing large-scale data.
  • Experience with NLP development using Hugging Face, PyTorch, and LangChain.
  • Familiarity with deploying applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of additional libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and Scikit-Learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
